At this time, we are pleased to offer several of our popular folding saddle seats for sale. These handy seats are ready to go where you need them. As time allows, we will be including our belts, lamps, and other goods for sale. Stay tuned for updates!

Jarrettown Leatherworks produces hand-made leather goods in our home shop in Pennsylvania, in the only Jarrettown on Earth! We create belts, three-legged stools, leather lamps, and a diverse collection of custom orders. Our Pennsylvania tannery provides us with both drum-dyed leather, which is colored on both sides, and natural ivory carving leather, which can accept a rainbow of colors.

We use manual machines for cutting, and all tooling is done with a hand-stamp and a mallet. Tooled items have hand-hammered designs, whereas carved leather is done freehand with a swivel knife. Colors are applied by hand with sponge or brush. Most of the tools we use have remained essentially unchanged for centuries, although we now use more eco-friendly formulations of the leather dyes.

Our leather seats are three-legged folding saddle seats, portable and quite comfortable. They vary in design and color, from solid colors through a kaleidoscope of patterns, all finished with a protective coating. The ergonomic design promotes good posture. Our standard seat is the same height as a regular dining chair, so it can be pulled up to the table for extra seating, then tucked away when space is at a premium.

Our belts come in four widths, and the length is custom-sized to fit. Some are left plain, while others are tooled or carved, then hand-painted with leather dye, and finished with a coat of sealant. We also offer a classic braided belt design. All of our belts have snaps so you can change buckles easily. We include a solid brass buckle, in silver or shiny brass finish, and offer upgrade choices as well.

Our leather lamps are Tiffany-style, with panels of leather laced together. Some feature stained-glass inserts, some are carved or tooled. They hang from a metal chain and plug into a standard outlet, or can be hard-wired into your existing ceiling fixture.

We also create wallets, wristbands, commemorative plaques, and framed leather art. Don't be shy, drop us a line and we'll be happy to help!
